Members of the PMC/SMACCA have a voice in influencing both local codes and legislation at the state and national levels. Through partnership with accomplished lobbyists and labor partners the Associations take the lead on the issues that make a difference to you and your company.  Working in concert with national partners at the MCAA and SMACNA our staff engages with regulators to make your voice heard.

We engage with our members through Legislative Days in Madison on a bi-annual basis. We host law makers at Alliance events and make continuing efforts to educate new, and veteran, law makers on the benefits of support pro-business, pro-construction and pro-union initiatives. Our efforts on our members behalf directly impacts the legislative process and regulatory environment to ensure the growth of our industry. We lobby for or against regulations and work with executive governmental agencies and elected officials to create regulations and define enforcement measures and consequences.
