2023 Plumbers License Bonds
SPECIAL NOTICE
PLUMBER PERFORMANCE BONDS FOR 2023 ?
As PMC members you have the opportunity to obtain your Plumber Performance Bonds at a price lower than you could obtain them directly from municipalities. As is the case each year, you will likely receive Plumber Performance Bond information from both PMC and from the municipalities in which you do work.
REMEMBER: You need to only complete one set of papers: either this set from PMC Association, or the ones you receive from each municipality.
Plumber Performance Bonds must be renewed effective January 1, 2023. Please be aware the Plumber Performance Bond is not to be confused with the surety or liability bonds, which also become effective January 1 of each year.
If you wish to use PMC's performance bonding program, please indicate on the registration form which bonds you want to be renewed.
For each municipality, PMC will send a power of attorney on your behalf.
Please fill out a new Power of Attorney Form if you have a new Master Plumber. See links below.
The fees PMC charges are as follows:
- City of Butler - $10 per company
- City of New Berlin - $20 per company
- City of New Berlin ? Road Cut - $20 per company
- City of Wauwatosa - $10 per company
- City of Cudahy - $20 per company
- City of South Milwaukee - $10 per company
- City of Shorewood - $10 per company
- City of Milwaukee ? $75.00 per Master Plumber* + a separate check Payable to City of Milwaukee in the amount of $60.96 for each Master Plumber.
- The price for the City of Milwaukee Bond has increased from $25/per company to $75/per Master Plumber in 2022. This results from a directive from the City of Milwaukee that disallows the PMC to use a group bond. Now, individual bonds are required for each Master Plumber. By bonding through the PMC members will still receive a discounted price through our Association insurance provider.
Please Note: You will be invoiced for the fees once registered so please complete the registration form in its entirety.
Once you receive the invoice, please send the original copies of the forms along with your check made out to PMC for the bonds you wish to renew.
Deadline to register is October 31, 2022.
Special Notes for City of Milwaukee Plumber Performance Bonds:
The City of Milwaukee requires a $60.96 business registration fee for each Plumber Performance Bond. Therefore, please send along a $60.96 check for each master plumber, made payable to the City of Milwaukee.
- A certificate of insurance (see link below) must also be filled out using the DNS-114B form available on the internet site: http://city.milwaukee.gov/DNS-114B_PLMB_COI. If you use the ACORD form as proof of insurance you need to send the Indemnification Form (see link below) along with it.
