DESCRIPTION:The world is full of little conflicts and big conflicts. Construction is no exception. This course uses the Thomas Kilmann conflict style/conflict management interpretation about how to use personal and team conflict management style to resolve conflicts better and faster. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about their own conflict management preferences and how to work better with others who prefer different styles. This course prepares participants to make the best conflict management choices to reduce disruption and keep project moving forward.\n\n\n\nAbout the Speaker:\n\nKelli R. Kopocis\, PhD\, MPH\, AHFP\n\nDr. Kopocis is on the faculty in College of Engineering at the University of Nebraska   Lincoln. She currently serves as chair of the curriculum committee for construction programs and teaches courses in construction safety\, human factors\, construction productivity\, and engineering economics.
