Plumbing Inspection HandbookOne of our more popular services, the annual plumbing inspector’s handbook is a useful tool, which puts together and answers many of your daily questions in one convenient location. In 2006, we introduced the Plumbing Inspectors Handbook: CD-Rom version.
The Handbook is a compilation of area plumbing inspectors names, hours of operation, permit fees, sewer and water fees, bonding and security deposits, miscellaneous fees, penalties, re-insertion, plan review, and administrative fees. Every year we survey area inspectors to be sure that the information we share is the most up to date information available.
You can expect to receive your manual around the beginning of May, if you don’t receive one, please call Linda at 414/543-7622.

WPT Drug Testing Program
In June 2000, the Mechanical Contractors Association of Wisconsin (MCAW) and the Wisconsin Pipe Trade Association (WPTA) agreed to a statewide drug and alcohol testing and assistance program. The program provides for pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, post-incident, and random testing.
We are committed to establishing and maintaining a drug-free workplace for every signatory contractor and every WPTA member. With that commitment in mind, the program was created to meet several important objectives:
-
Protect the health and safety of employees, co-workers, and customers
-
Meet the needs of customers—in an effective and efficient way
-
Provide assistance for workers who need it
-
Reduce the cost of worker’s compensation, health and other insurances
-
Enhance our public image as a unionized industry
