Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Association (PMC) PMC has been the Association leader in the plumbing and mechanical contracting industry since 1883 by generating new ideas and promoting change when and where it benefits our industry. By providing support and leadership in the areas of labor relations, industry promotion, government relations, and education, PMC continually finds new and innovative ways to serve the membership.
Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' Association of Milwaukee & Wisconsin (SMACCA Milwaukee & Wisconsin) SMACCA Wisconsin was founded in 1914. SMACCA Milwaukee was founded in 1936. Membership in SMACCA Milwaukee includes membership to SMACCA Wisconsin and SMACNA (national). The purpose of SMACCA Milwaukee & Wisconsin is to promote and advance the interest of sheet metal contractors through sound labor relations, education, national representation, and research. SMACCA Milwaukee can provide a myriad of valuable technical manuals, seminars, and safety information, just to name a few.
Plumbing Mechanical and Sheet Metal Contractors Alliance (PMSMCA)PMSMCA was created to streamline the administrative duties of PMC and SMACCA. Although the two associations have shared office space since 1999, it was only in 2006 that PMSMCA was unveiled. Contractor members must still maintain individual membership in either or both organizations (PMC and SMACCA). PMSMCA is governed by a combination of Board Members from both PMC and SMACCA, to create the Executive Committee.
