Educational Programs

We work diligently throughout the year to bring you valuable educational programming.  Whether we fly in a nationally recognized speaker or we use our local talent to bring you valuable continuing education workshops, the sessions are always a valuable tool for you and your employees.

In June 2007, we brought in Dr. Awad Hanna, “Achieving Greater Project Success and Profitability through Pre-Construction Planning” to assist contractors in developing a formal pre-construction planning process that extends through three project states:  bidding, pre-construction and project execution.

In September 2007, we held a Wisconsin Boiler Code Workshop Presentation on what you need to know about the updated Wisconsin Commercial Building Energy Code which took effect November 1, 2007.

In October 2007, Customer Service for Field Employees with Kevin Dougherty was a dynamic and effective program communicating the need for service employees to be more company-minded and sales oriented.

Sustainability with Tom Glavinich was a program held jointly with ASHRAE.   Professor Glavinich is currently near completion on a white paper for SMACNA and presented his findings on the topic of sustainability.  This presentation provided an overview of green building rating systems and requirements as they apply to the HVAC system design and installation, address differences in responsibilities between a traditional building project and a green building project and how green requirements should be included in the HVAC bidding and contractor documents to minimize risk for all parties.

We also tap into our local talent through lunch n learn programming.  Some are available for continuing education credit for Master and Journeyman plumbers.  .

Watch our calendar of events for future educational programs in the upcoming year.
